Freddy Cole (ATL)

Some might say they don’t make ’em like Freddy Cole anymore. Brother of Nat King Cole, Freddy grew up in Chicago. In a house where Duke Ellington and Count Basie were regular guests, it would be hard to avoid developing a taste for entertainment. Since his first single in 1952, Freddy has been building on his role as entertainer. His voice is deep and smokey; rich with feeling and experience. It has that certain swing that made men like Ol’ Blue Eyes irresistible. Having travelled the world over, he’s spent over half a century honing his skills not only as a singer and pianist, but as a storyteller. Cole tantalizes audiences with smooth renditions of such classics as ‘Harbour Lights’ and ‘On A Clear Day’ and fills the gaps with tales of his famous family and his travels, offering insight into the mind of a true entertainer.
